Actor Vishal, who has been shooting for director Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’ along with Aarya and Janani Ayyar, is said to be doing what no other Tamil film here has ever dared or ventured out to do: Vishal plays a transgender in the film, sources close to the director say and add that the director has kept it as a ‘secret’ so as not to attract media attention.


There's more news on Bala's Avan Ivan, which features Vishal, Arya, Janani Iyer and Madhushalini in the lead.


Sources close to the unit of the film say that the unit has wrapped up shooting and that dubbing for the film is on. This means that the film is well on its way to being released sometime in April this year.


Says a source, "Shooting for the film has been completed and dubbing is on. Of all the films that Bala sir has made, Avan Ivan may well be the fastest. The makers are looking at an April release."
Sources also say that Avan Ivan will be different from the other movies of director Bala as this will be a full-fledged comedy.

Bhumika and Bharat Thakur head for divorce

Bhumika Chawla and Bharat Thakur got married on 21st October 2007 after dating each other for four years. Well now it’s almost another 4 years after their marriage but things are not running smooth for the couple who are heading for a divorce.


Both of them are usually seen hand in hand during any public event but their recent appearances made things look suspicious as the couple were not seen together a lot. It is said that Bhumikacame to know about Bharat having a soft spot for another woman whom he had met some time back.

Chandramukhi, we all know is the longest ever run Tamil film. It was also dubbed in Telugu as ‘Nagavalli’ and did phenomenal business in Andhra.


But are you aware that the Super Star film was also dubbed in German as Der Geisterjäger, meaning The Ghost Hunter? The German version was released in several German-speaking countries and received a good response.

Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) Bollywood Kollywood tollywood sandalwood

Indian premier league(IPL) has been quite successful. It has already completed three seasons successfully. Following its hype the Indian Film Industries, not just Bollywood,but also Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood and Sandalwood have decided to conduct a Celebrity Cricket league(CCL). The League will consist of 5 teams, one from each of the film industries.

The Radaan Corporation of actress Radhika will be the Organizing committee of the Celebrity Premier league. Many corporate entities are also contributing into this. The co-founder of CCL is Vishnu Induri. Each team will be chosen by auction. The process of auction has started in the first week of December.

Tollywood has played many cricket matches before for charity. But this one is not for charity. 60% of the CCL teams bidding amount will go towards the fee of actors association and the rest will be the individual remunerations for the actors or technicians.
