Bollywood inspired by Kollywood

News is that the next offering from Bollywood is taking inspiration fromKollywood.

Director Rohit Shetty who has directed rib tickling Bollywood comedies likeGolmaal series and All the Best is making an action flick.Well for those wondering why? news is that the director is playing it safe.

The latest offering is an action packed thriller from the director a remake of the 2010 Tamil smash-hit Singam which is to be made in Hindi. Many nodded their heads that the original movie was “the mother of all masala films.” A milestone 25th film for Surya saw the come back of the successful duo of director Hari and Surya.

It is reported that the remade version in Hindi will not have the on screen magic of Surya i.e.the ” S magic ” (Surya as Sub inspector in Singam).

While Surya handled the role as lead actor in the Tamil version, it is to be seen who would do justice to the role and fill the void in the Hindi remake.

Reliance BIG Pictures has taken up the responsibility to produce this one and left no opportunity to cash in on this one, infact BIG Pictures had co produced the original Singam along with Reliance BIG Pictures. It has to be seen who will be scoring the soundtracks for this one as the original ones were scored by Devi Sri Prasad, who had joined Surya after their hits such as Maayavi and Aaru in the original Singam.
